A small painting for today...
When I do a painting of a landscape with birds, I paint the landscape first and let it dry for about a week - then I paint the birds. This way, if I don't like the birds, I can wipe them off and start again. This is a 7" x 7" oil inspired by the marshes that I see on the East Coast of the U.S. The ducks are pintail.
Its fantastic! Glad you left the birds in!
