#23 and 24, 60/60 Challenge
I spent yesterday painting the creek where I learned how to swim. It's a tidal tributary off the Mahurangi right below the house we lived in...fresh water when the tide went out but salt water when the tide came in. We shared the creek with lots of fresh water eels - not quite like swimming with dolphins! Both pieces are 12" x 9" oils.
Oh lovely - I could almost dive in from here. So peaceful with a hint of the sub tropical
ReplyDeleteLove the salt/fresh water combination.
The Creek I knew really well was salt only, it flowed past Dead Man's Island ... if I fell in there I had to go for anti-tetanus shots.
love the reflection!
